Andy Stocks Guitar School is the largest guitar school in Yorkshire. We provide guitar lessons for fun or grades from our studio near Barnsley town centre.
Established in 2003, we have taught guitar to hundreds of people from the ages of 4 to 87. Whatever your reason for wanting to play the guitar we can help. If you want to study for formal qualifications, to join a band or just for fun we will show you how. Our guitar lessons are one to one and are conducted by our DBS checked tutors.
Some of our guitar lessons have been viewed over 8 million times on Youtube and our channel has over 70,000 subscribers. We have been featured on The Gadget and Vice.com and have worked as specialists for secondary schools in our area.
We offer a full program of guitar related activities from one to one guitar lessons, to band mentoring, recording and gigging. We are unique and that is why we pride ourselves on the guitar lessons and service we provide.
GUITAR LESSONS BARNSLEY
Andy Stocks Guitar School offers both RGT and Rock School exam training. We have also been awarded tutors of excellence from the RGT for gaining consistently high marks in the exams.
In addition to our academic training, we are huge on band performance. This is the place that puts guitarists and bass players into contact with singers and drummers to form real bands that record and play gigs. We have a full programme of band experiences that have helped our students tour the country, record albums and sign deals.
All our lessons are one to one (except for the band mentoring) and you are assigned your tutor at a specific time. All lessons are paid for at the time although we do offer discounts for block bookings. We teach electric guitar, acoustic guitar and bass guitar in any style.
Our Barnsley studio is comfortable and modern with all the facilities you need to reach your guitar/bass playing goals.
